Below
are the carriers that I use for shipping. I require they be purchased by you
and sent to me, or I can order them and make the arrangements but I charge 20.00
to do so. You must send the cost amount in full before I proceed. You may also
send your own airline approved carrier but it must meet the following requirements:
Here is one of the two custom made 9 hole carriers I shipped 18 cavies to Portugal in. These beautiful cages were made by Brian Letson at Grandview Cage Supply in Ontario. The price on them was very reasonable. They came fully assembled and ready to use.

Each hole is... the total length is 33", the total width is 24", and the height is 8". Each hole is approximately 8"x10" which gives ample room for a full grown cavy, a feed cup and water bottle.
Each cage has a space divider to stuff hay into. All rough edges are covered with cage guard to give it a safe and finished look! This is a cavy carrier so the cage rests in the tray; a wire floor is not needful. Rabbit carriers should have a wire floor that will allow for the bedding to be under the floor while the rabbits are on wire. A wire floor provides a healthy clean environment for rabbits to travel in. Cavies can not have wire floors because their feet are small and tender and will slip through the wire. I use wood pellet bedding in the cavy trays. Wood Pellet bedding is highly absorbant and keeps them clean and comfortable.

Note the solid metal lid insert just under the wire. A solid lid insert is a requirement for shipping.

Below is a close up photo of the wire. Each of the squares of wire is only 1"x1" square. Cage wire can not be larger than 1" x1" squares. The trays are 4 inches deep and come part way up the sides for extra protection.
