Gold Tipped Steel Buck

 

 

 

Talon is the first steel buck I have produced. He was a nice surprise as steel is one of my favorite colors but one that seems to be rare and hard to find, especially here in Canada. Talon is a big guy weighing almost 5 lbs so he does not have the dwarf gene, but I have several chestnut does that do and he has made some incredible babies with them. His offspring have gotten his big head and nice type with the doe's small size. Talon has a very good wrap around crown and belt leather thick ears. He has excellent bone and is very wide thoughout. He does have a fair bit of length through his mid section. I use him a lot and am looking forward to many more litters from him!
