| Copper is a nice surprise for 2007. He was a cross between Rosie and my new orange buck Forget Me Not Ritz. Although he is quite white in his underbelly and eye circles, his depth of red is surprisingly deep and even. There is no smut on his body at all. He does have some "frosting" on his chest, but overall I am happy with his color. His type is quite good too. He has a nice upright pose, good width to his head, very good crown for an F2. Most F2's have upright ears! I am really quite pleased with this fellow. He is only 5 months old in this photo so he should still have a fair bit of maturing to do. I look forward to using him in my red holland project. He is also a very sweet boy! |
