Here is one of my first roan texels, besides his dad! Looks a lot like his dad except he has more uniform roaning. I actually had my whole herd of texels up for sale and was hoping to sell them before his mom gave birth, forI knew if I saw a handsome roan, something I had been working toward for many years, I could not sell them.....and that is what happened. The sale fell through. The breeder really missed out on some awesome stock! He was born 3 weeks later and what a cutie he is! I did cut down to just blacks and roans and that is all I will be working with, though tsw still have a special place in my heart.

Riverwind has everything going for him! He has mounds of curl and a big body. His black is quite intense. I am very excited to have this little fellow join my texel herd. He is only 4 weeks in these pictures. I need to get some more photos of him. His curls are much more evident now than they are in these pictures.
