Here oatmeal is nearly finished her delivery of her first litter caught on camera. There is a fair bit of blood after a delivery, some more than others. She has a little more than most. She will clean up the blood and eat the placentas as well as any bloody bedding. It is natural for a sow to do this because in the wild she would not want to attract predators. They will on rare occasion even eat a dead baby if it is not promptly removed. Oatmeal ended up having a three pups.A red eyed white silkie boar, a himilayan peruvian boar, and a cream and white peruvian sow.
Here oatmeal is in another delivery. This time she delivered 4 babies; a tsw peruvian sow, a cream and white peruvian sow, a golden agouti boar and a red boar. Very nice litter!
