Scarlet is heavily pregnant and is on her 69th day of her term. At the time this picture was taken she was hours away from her delivery. We were wonderfully able to capture her birthing process on film.

Scarlet has already delivered two healthy pups and is now in the process of delivering her third baby. Notice her bending down to nip open the sac as the baby arrives. Here Scarlet is vigorously cleaning her new born pup. In the end she has three healthy baby cavies; two boars and a sow!
