Evan's Fuzzy Bear
Alpacas are a breed not yet recognised by the American Rabbit Breeders Association Standard. The difference between an alpaca and a texel is that an alpaca has rump rossettes and a frontal sweep falling over the face. An alpaca is best described as a curly coated peruvian and the texel as a curly coated silkie. Texels are recognised as a breed by A.R.B.A.
