All Rabbits with "Evans" or "Creators" were bred by me, Sherri Evans of Creator's Critters!

Creator's Critters is a small rabbitry & caviary located on Vancouver Island BC.,Canada.
I have raised cavies since 1989 and rabbits since 1996. I raise mainly Holland lops, often called
the dwarf lop, lop eared rabbit, miniature lop or mini lop. In actuality, a mini lop is a bigger rabbit weighing 5-7 lbs, where
as the small holland lop weighs on average 2-4 lbs. Though dwarf breeds tend to be known for their high strung personalities,
the holland lops are generally calm and make great house rabbits and are very popular show rabbits. My hollands
are pedigreed, several are registered, and many are from grand champion lines.

The Mini rex is another dwarf breed I carry in my rabbitry, it is sometimes mistaken for the velveteen rabbit. There is a
"velveteen rabbit" but it is a larger rabbit, simiiar to the English lop weighing considerably more than the mini rex.
The mini rex is a small dwarf breed, upright eared rabbit weighing on average 3.5-4.5 lbs.
Mini rex are known for their luxurious velvety coats.
My mini rex are bred for type, excellent coat qualities, and temperament, which is very important to me in pet or show rabbits.
I am mainiy concentrating on tri-colored mini rex in black/orange and blue/ fawn.

New to Creator's Critters is the Thrianta (now sold out). This lovely red rabbit has been around since the 1940's,
but has only recently become the talk of breeders in North America.
This beautiful rabbit is an average size weighing 4.5 lbs to 6.5 lbs, ideal weight of seniors being 5-6 lbs.
It is a compact well rounded rabbit with a short, full head and well filled cheeks.
The ears are short, stocky and upright. They have excellent head and body mass and have
been invaluable in the creation of my red hollands.
The Thrianta are a beautiful fiery brilliant shade of red with belly color, underside of tail and eye circles
being a lighter shade of red. The eyes are dark brown.
The coat is described as a medium length, dense, soft to the touch, rollback coat.
I have a breeding pair of Thrianta which I mainly use for the red hollands.

I also carry a variety of guinea pigs, also know as cavies (kay-vees).
My main breed is the peruvian, which is a long haired guinea pig.
The peruvian cavy has a long coat which flows over it's face. I breed roan & black in the
peruvian cavies. The silkie is another long coated cavy who's hair flows away from it's face giving
it a tear drop shape to it's coat when viewed from above. It's fat little face is very visible. In my caviary the silky comes
in black and roan. I have several texels and alpacas ( or boucle - boo-clay),
which are long coated curly guinea pigs that somewhat resemble tiny sheep.
I am breeding them in black & roan as well as red & red roan.

I breed my rabbits and cavies to meet the American Rabbit Breeders Association Standard.
Type, health and temperment are what I stirve for in my animals. I have show, breeding and pet rabbits
& guinea pigs available all year long. All are pedigreed, though pets are not sold with their pedigrees.
I do ship in Canada & USA, but a minimum purchase, usually a trio, is required.
My for sale pages are updated often. Baby rabbits
and occasionally adult breeding stock available.
Also avaiiable, rabbit manure for gardening.
This site contains several photos of rabbits and cavies and is best viewed with a high speed internet
connection. There are several articles on rabbits and guinea pigs "under construction" so if you
need info now, please don't hesitate to ask.
